- software installation/removal, including fixing corrupted softaware
- virus/spyware/ransomware, etc. removal/prevention
- upgrading/replacing internal hardware such as video cards, hard drives, memory, power supplies, etc.
- data backup methods and procedures

- how to cost effectively network multiple computers to share internet or data or printers
- setting up a secure wireless network to keep others off it
- remotely access a computer, such as a home or work PC from a different location
- reinstalling operating systems or transfering programs/data to a new computer

- digital music, or transfering/restoring old records to mp3 files or converting to cds

Our user group has members of all experience levels (novice through expert) and ages 20s through 80s. Typically guest speakers or presentations on various topics are at the general meetings along with light refreshments. Members have access to free software, hardware and books. Reviews of new products are done as well.
